Our new shirt celebrates the groundbreaking 1972 tv series and book "Ways of Seeing" by John Berger. In the 4 part tv special, he breaks down what it means to look at a picture in the age of mechanical reproduction, the context of viewing art throughout history, introduces the concept of the male gaze, and discusses patronage of art, colour photography and modern art.
