Our Hero T-Shirt

Our Hero was a Canadian teen comedy/drama that aired from 2000-2002. It was about a girl named Kale Stiglic who makes a zine about her and her friends’ lives (including the drummer from broken social scene and Kevin from Radio Active) in suburban Toronto. This was such a great moment in the Canadian y2k era with old school teen angst and zines and indie music dominating youth culture in the pre-web 2.0 era. It was one of the only DVDs I kept the first time I purged all my discs and it’s still a great show! I think it’s all on YouTube now if you wanna check it out :)
