Penelope Fitzgerald’s 1979 novel “Offshore” is about a small community of social misfits living in houseboats off the banks of the River Thames. It remains the shortest book to win the Booker prize, at 132 pages in its first edition. One of my favourites by one of my favourite authors- this shirt features the original cover art by George Murray.
