Mike Leigh’s 1993 film “Naked” is a dark, Mancunian turn for David Thewlis as Johnny, a somewhat sociopathic philosopher and pontificating intellectual pervert in this most nihilistic film in Leigh’s canon. Over two hours with almost no plot whiz by as Johnny charms and upsets everyone he comes into contact with. So good!
